Jackie’s life changed forever in 2012 when she went on vacation in the Dominican Republic with her family. They decided to go cliff diving, an exciting but dangerous activity. Jackie stayed in the ICU on heavy medication for days after arriving at the hospital in New York City, where she works as a special education teacher and is a mother of two children.
